Police: Motorcyclist Killed In Crash Was In Wrong Place At Wrong Time

OXFORD TWP. (WWJ) - Police say a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Oakland County was just in "the wrong place at the wrong time."

The accident happened just after 3:30 p.m. Monday on Drahner Road near Beckley Avenue, west of Lapeer Road in Oxford Township.

According to police, the motorcyclist was traveling on Drahner Road when there was a two-car accident nearby. One of the vehicles involved in the crash veered into the motorcycle, police said, killing the biker.

Other circumstances surrounding the accident weren't immediately clear.

The motorcyclist's name has not yet been released.

An investigation is ongoing.
