CBS DETROIT - Among the most coveted free agents in baseball this offseason will be two Detroit Tigers - starting pitcher David Price and left fielder Yoenis Cespedes. Price said last week that he is still open to re-signing with Detroit rather than testing the market and that he has loved playing for the Tigers.

On Tuesday, Cespedes told CBS Detroit that he too could see himself remaining in Detroit.

Cespedes, known as one of the best defensive outfielders in the game, has a batting average of .309 over 65 games for the Tigers. Detroit traded for Cespedes in the offseason, months after the Oakland Athletics had traded him to the Boston Red Sox.

While not focused on his upcoming free agency by any stretch, Cespedes indicated the Tigers will definitely be an option for him when he reaches the point of considering his future.

"I'm not thinking about that at the moment," Cespedes said in Spanish. "I'm only focused on playing baseball, doing the best I can to help the team, but I would like to stay here in Detroit.

"When the season ends, I will decide, or, I don't know, later on, but at this moment I'm not thinking about that," Cespedes added.

An All-Star last season, Cespedes is currently sixth among outfielders in the current All-Star Game voting with more than three million votes.
