ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) – Authorities say a 65-year-old Oakland County man was killed while trying to replace the tail lights on his Chevrolet Corvette.

The accident happened around 1:15 p.m. Thursday at a home on Kentucky Drive, in a neighborhood near Livernois and W. Hamlin roads in Rochester Hills.

The man was working underneath the vehicle when it suddenly rolled back, pinning him to the ground. Police say the vehicle’s transmission was in reverse at the time.
