The truth will set you free and that's exactly what DaVonne did. Her interview with Julie Chen was great and she wasn't afraid to tell her how she felt about her fellow houseguests. However the 27-year-old poker deal from Los Angeles, CA stay in the Big Brother house was cut shot. At least now she'll get to see her baby. This upcoming week looks to be a party and Gronk is the host as he's taking over Big Brother. "But first," as Julie Chen always says let me recap to you what happened on last night's live eviction episode of Big Brother.

DaVonne Campaigns To Stay

"Cowards," was one of the first things we hear from DaVonne in her DR after the POV Ceremony. Which I couldn't agree more with because she really thought Audrey would be the replacement nominee and that she was safe. That didn't seem to happen as Shelli put up Meg as her replacement. So all DaVonne could hope for is that twist Comedienne Kathy Griffin mentioned at the beginning of the week. In the meantime she was trying to convince houseguests to keep her over Meg.

The twin twist was also on DaVonne's mind during her week on the block. Noticing the differences of how Liz looked from a few days. I was glad to finally see the twin twist talked about but surprised how quickly the houseguests started to theorize DaVonne's theory. Meanwhile Julia who was currently in the house when this happened was not going to let herself or her twin sister Liz be ousted by DaVonne. Though many of the houseguests are now going to be keeping a closer eye on Liz. Hopefully Liz and Julia can keep up their act for two more weeks, if not this twist would have been a waste.

No Last Laugh For DaVonne

The telephone booth made an appearance in the Big Brother house, which meant Kathy Griffin's BB Take Over twist, would start. She finally revealed to the houseguests that whoever answered the lucky call will receive the power of "The Last Laugh," which would prevent three houseguests from voting at the live eviction ceremony. There was a 1 in 15 chance to win this, as she would call 15 times. It seems as though the house decided to take turns answering as oppose to fighting to get a specific call. Clay made the statement he'd like to have the seventh call, however DaVonne also wanted the seventh call and as viewers we knew the seventh call was the call to receive the power. When she rang for the seventh time, DaVonne immediately went to the phone booth to take the call. After finding out that she had won the power, played it smart by not celebrating. One by one the other calls had happen and none of the houseguests wanted to say who actually won. Later on DaVonne tells Jason and they both celebrate but know she needs at least five votes to keep her.

Julie announced to the houseguests that Becky, Jeff and Jackie were the three houseguests selected not to vote for a houseguests for eviction. It was surprising to hear these names as well as not mention who won the power. This could possibly be a discussion next week as to won the power, possibly making Audrey a target, or another houseguests. By a vote of 7 to 2, DaVonne was evicted from the Big Brother house. Julie had asked her why does she think the houseguests are not targeting Audrey and she says they don't want to be perceived as bullies by the viewers. This was interesting to hear because it would seem as though each season has a controversy and this season seems very tamed. The viewers as well as the houseguests have accepted Audrey's transgender story line. DaVonne made the point very clear the houseguests can separate Audrey the transgender and Audrey the BB Player. This is helping in Audrey's favor and DaVonne predicts if nobody steps up Audrey could ride her way to the half a million-dollar prize.

Gronk's BB Take Over

There ain't no party like a Gronk Party! Superbowl Champion, Rob Gronkowski was this next week's special guest to take over Big Brother. His first decree was there would be no Have-Nots meaning no slop for any houseguests this next week. Also he hinted to the houseguests it would be a good thing to win, and then informed the houseguests to head to the backyard for the HOH competition. I'm wondering whoever the sole HOH will be getting a special "Gronk power."

The houseguests played some "Gronk Pong" and the goal was simple be the two highest scoring houseguests and both would be crowned HOH. Liz, who was actually Julia in this competition played and did very well scoring a 23, which was the bar for most of the competition. James and Vanessa both tied with Liz, while Austin scored the highest at the end with 28 points. In the tiebreaker, Vanessa was victorious with her score of 52 points crowning her the second HOH for next week.

My Top Three Houseguests For The Week

  • Clay - His HOH this week, I mean Shelli's was great for Clay. He was able to take a threat to his game and be sort of in power. However next week is a new week and I would not be surprised if he is a target.
  • John - After making a deal to throw the BOTB then saving himself in the POV, John has made some efforts of social and competition game. Though I would consider him in the middle of the pack, this week he's in my top three.
  • Steve - Winning BOTB with Jason and starting to form relationships with other houseguests has been a good week for Steve. Here's hoping Steve can continue to be under the radar, this superfan seems to be doing some smart moves in this game. But like John right now he's in my middle of the pack overall and this week he's in my top three.

My Bottom Three Houseguests For The Week

  • Jackie - Other than hosting the POV, she's just enjoying her time in the house. I just hope she actually tries to play the game. She only was selected not to vote because DaVonne knows she's just floating in this game. Also she had a very poor showing during the HOH competition last night.
  • Meg - Was nominated for eviction as the pawn and may take Jackie's title of pawn holder but she's "sweet ol' Meg." Well Meg hasn't done anything but socialize; I would love to see her play this game.
  • Becky - Lost her HOH during BOTB, didn't get Audrey out like she hoped this week and was selected not to vote. Not a great week for Becky.

My Prediction for Nominations & BOTB

This will be an interesting next week, as the power has shifted away from power couple, Shelli and Clay. My prediction is that Austin will nominate Clay and Steve, while Vanessa will nominate Audrey and Jackie. I believe Austin's main goal for the week will be to evict Clay. Vanessa will try and backdoor her nominee which I believe to be Jeff or possibly Clay as well. For BOTB, I believe Vanessa will remain in power meaning Austin will be dethroned.

I can't wait to find out more of what Gronk will do with the houseguests this week for his BB Take Over. But we'll just have to tune in on Sunday at 8pm on CBS Detroit 62 to find out if there is more, plus whom Austin and Vanessa nominate, then which one of them gets dethroned and is the sole remaining HOH for the week.
