As I expected the lack of pitching prowess by Shane Greene and Taijuan Walker led to an avalanche of runs at Comerica Park last night, thus the over 9.5 runs was the right play.
For today we go to Arizona where former Tiger Robbie Ray and his Diamondbacks go up against Jose Fernandez and the Miami Marlins.

Ray has been surprisingly very good for Arizona posting a 3-4 record with a 2.29 earned run average in his starts. Fernandez has started just 3 games since coming back from injury and has been pretty good with a 2.37 ERA and a WHIP under 1. The Marlins are a slight (-109) favorite and one of the reasons is Ray's home performance where the D'backs are winless in his four starts and his ERA is 3.74 at home. I look for Fernandez to excel tonight and lead the Marlins to the win for the PLAY OF THE DAY.
