Passenger Seriously Injured After Car Smashes Into Parked Dump Truck In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities say a man is hospitalized with serious injuries after the car he was riding in smashed into a dump truck in Detroit.
The accident happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday on Plainview Street, in a west side neighborhood near Grand River Avenue and Evergreen Road.
According to police, a 2002 gold Chevy Malibu was driving down the street when it crashed into a dump truck that was parked on the road.
A 24-year-old who was a passenger in the car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. His current condition is unknown.
No other injuries were reported.
The accident remains under investigation.
