Wanted: Suspect In Detroit Jewelry Snatching [PHOTOS]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are looking for help to identify a young man wanted in a bold unarmed robbery.

It happened Monday, Sept. 14, at 10:20 a.m near W. McNichols and Wyoming in Detroit.

According to police, the 68-year-old female victim was entering into a local business when the suspect approached her, reached over and snatched her gold toned necklace with purple and clear stones.

The robber then fled on foot before getting into a vehicle nearby.

The suspect — seen in store security photos —  is described a black male, around 25 years old, 6 feet tall with a medium complexion. There was no description available of the getaway vehicle.
