Reports: Young Boy Stabbed By Brother In Dearborn
DEARBORN (WWJ) - Dearborn police are investigating a stabbing that reportedly involves a young boy and his brother.
The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Monday at a home on Steadman, in a neighborhood just east of Greenfield Road along Tireman Avenue.
Police said they were called to the home on a report of a juvenile injured in a domestic assault. That child was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. An adult male who lives in the home was taken into custody a short distance away without incident.
Police would not confirm the child's age, although reports indicate that the victim is about 8-years-old. Reports also indicate that the suspect is the boy's older sibling.
Other circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately clear.
The incident remains under investigation.
