2 Deer Found Shot To Death With Arrows In Royal Oak Cemetery
ROYAL OAK (AP) — Police in a Detroit suburb are investigating the deaths of two deer shot by arrows in a cemetery.
The deer were found Friday morning at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, just north of Detroit.
One of the animals was found near the entrance by a citizen who then notified cemetery employees.
Deer frequently roam wooded areas and backyards in some neighborhoods in Detroit and surrounding communities.
WDIV-TV reports that it's illegal to hunt with any type of weapon in Royal Oak.
No arrests have been made.
