Police Investigate After Man Hit By Two Cars In Garden City, Killed

GARDEN CITY (CBS Detroit) An investigation is unfolding in Garden City Tuesday morning after a man was hit by two cars as he tried to cross Ford Road near Middlebelt.

Police told WWJ's Mike Campbell the victim was first hit by one car and forced into oncoming traffic, where he was hit again.

Police Chief Robert Murray said police have picked up 52 pieces of cars that were involved. The chief said this is "very troubling" that two drivers would hit a man and not stop.
