Cause Of Death Undetermined For Woman Found In Detroit; Police Still Looking To ID Masked Man

DETROIT (WWJ/AP) - Authorities are unable to determine a cause of death for a 24-year-old woman whose body was found last month in Detroit.

Spokesman Lloyd Jackson said Tuesday that after a thorough investigation that included a toxicology screening, the Wayne County medical examiner's office is unable to determine how Kajavia Globe died.

Globe's body was found Dec. 14, three days after she was last seen.

Police haven't yet identified a suspect who was captured on chilling surveillance photos, using Globe's bank card to withdraw cash at a drive-through ATM at 7 Mile Road and Telegraph the same day she went missing. The suspect was wearing a skeleton face mask and police say he was also driving Globe's vehicle.

Three days later, Globe's body was found in a backyard on Fielding Street, in the area of 7 Mile Road and Evergreen.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact police at 313-596-5840 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
