Man Charged With Stealing Donation Jar From Macomb County Ram's Horn

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - A 28-year-old man suspected of stealing a donation jar from a Macomb County restaurant has been charged in the case.

Cory Gebhart was arraigned Thursday in 39th District Court on one count of larceny from a building. Judge Marco Santia ordered Gebhart held on a $10,000 bond, no 10 percent, ahead of a February 17 court date.

Police say the theft occurred around 6 a.m. on January 27 at the Ram's Horn restaurant on Gratiot Avenue just north of 12 Mile Road in Roseville.

According to police, Gebhart stole a donation jar that was on the cashier's counter as he was exiting the restaurant. The donation jar was for Dort Elementary School and contained approximately $100.
