6-Year-Old Girl Pulled From Beverly Hills Club Pool During Party Dies Days Later
BEVERLY HILLS (WWJ) - A 6-year-old girl who was found unresponsive in a pool at an athletic club in Oakland County has died.
The child was at a birthday party last Friday at the Beverly Hills Club, on Southfield Road just north of 13 Mile Road, when she was pulled from the water and rushed to a hospital.
Officials say she died earlier this week.
Police are still investigating the incident. According to reports, a lifeguard was on duty at the time.
Grief counselors will be at girl's elementary school in Birmingham Friday to help students. The girl's name is not being released.
