The Lions Picked Twitter Fight With The Packers And Lost

Twitter drama between sports teams never gets old.
The Detroit Lions picked a fight on Twitter on Friday that they were probably destined to lose. They just had to bring up the gut-wrenching game against the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field from 2015.
Every Lions fan knows which game that is -- Devin Taylor was called for a facemask after time expired which gave the Packers another chance to win the game while trailing 23-21.
Aaron Rodgers didn't waste the second opportunity and threw a 61-yard Hail Mary touchdown with no time left on the clock to send the Packers to a 27-23 win.
The facemask on Taylor was questionable and talked about for weeks in the Motor City. It's clear that the Lions still aren't over it judging by this tweet on Friday:
The Packers responded, of course, but not directly. They posted the winning play, which is all they had to do -- that or post the final score.
Later, they tweeted this gem from the 1994 Wild Card game when Brett Favre connected with Sterling Sharpe to beat the Lions in the playoffs.
Some are saying that the Packers started this whole silly thing on Tuesday with this tweet:
If that's true, the Lions either didn't see it and brought the game up on their own, or their response to it was just slow and sad.
