Man Gunned Down, Killed On Detroit's East Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for a killer on the city's east side after a man was found shot to death outside of his home.
The shooting happened just after 12 a.m. Tuesday on Fleming Street, along McNichols Road and Dequindre not far from I-75.
The victim, a male in his late 20s or early 30s, was dead when police arrived on the scene.
Investigators say it appears the victim was shot on one side of the street, then made it back to his car where his body was found.
Other circumstances weren't immediately clear. No arrests have been made.
Neighbors were gathered around as police investigated the scene, but they weren't very forthcoming.
"I heard some gunshots, that's about it, a lot of them," said one man who did not want to me named.
