SI Cover Features Gordie Howe

Sports Illustrated's regional cover this week will honor the late hockey great Gordie Howe, longtime member of the Detroit Red Wings. SI senior writer Michael Farber remembers Mr. Hockey's indelible legacy, which ranged from earning four Stanley Cups with the Red Wings to being named MVP of the World Hockey Association at age 45. Howe passed away last Friday at the age of 88.
