No Big Winner In Last Night's Mega Millions Drawing, Jackpot Grows To Whopping $449M

DETROIT (WWJ/AP) -  No jackpot winner has been drawn in the Mega Millions lottery drawing estimated at $415 million.

Lottery officials say no ticket matching all six winning numbers was drawn Friday night, so the jackpot rolls over to an estimated $449 million for the next drawing, on Tuesday.

The winning numbers drawn Friday night were 20-41-42- 45-49, with a Mega Ball of 14.

Tuesday's jackpot will be the largest jackpot since a $430 million Powerball prize won by a New Jersey family May 7.

The record prize was a $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won in January by players in three states.

The odds of picking the correct numbers on five white balls and one yellow ball in the Mega Millions are one in 259 million.

The last Michigan player to win the Mega Millions jackpot was Kelsey Zachow, of Port Huron. Zachow won the game's $66 million jackpot in June 2014.

If a Michigan player wins Tuesday's jackpot, it would be the largest Mega Millions prize won in the state. That title right now is held by a Port Huron couple, Ralph and Mary Stebbins, who won a $208 million jackpot on April 22, 2005.

Mega Millions is played in 43 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Each Mega Millions play is only $1.
