Missing 78-Year-Old Man Answers To: 'Your Son Fard Is Looking For You'

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police and family are asking for help finding a missing 78-year-old man who has dementia.

The family of Fard Shareef says that he was last seen on Tuesday, July 19, around 8 p.m. in the 19200 block of Irvington in Detroit.

Shareef is 5 feet, 11 inches and 150 pounds, he has a salt and pepper beard and short gray hair. He was wearing a blue down jacket, dark pants, and a blue t-shirt and black shoes.

His family says that he suffers from dementia but responds to "Your son Fard is looking for you." Shareef is blind in his left eye.
