The Detroit Tigers started a three game series with the Boston Red Sox at historic Fenway Park on Monday.

If you ever have a chance to attend a game there, I would highly suggest doing so. It is the coolest ballpark I have been to; The Green Monster is so cool to see and Pesky's Pole is something you have to see to believe.

Verlander toed the mound for the Tigers in the first game of the series and pitched really well, getting the win. His line was 6 IP with five strikeouts, giving up five hits and giving up one earned run.

Verlander's fiance Kate Upton was in attendance to see her man pitch in Fenway. The NESN announcers were quick to point her out.

The best part of the story happened after the game. While waiting for Verlander to leave the clubhouse, she seemingly made a new friend that she documented on her Snapchat account.

This isn't the first time that Upton has visited Fenway with Verlander. In 2014, she was able to go inside the Green Monster with Verlander and sign the wall.
