Navy Veteran Fatally Shot On Detroit's West Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - A Navy veteran was fatally shot following an argument in a west side Detroit neighborhood and now, police are searching for his killer.
The incident happened Wednesday night at W. Alexandrine and Wabash streets, near Rosa Parks Boulevard and Grand River Avenue.
The 44-year-old veteran was part of a large group of people who were gathered in the street when a vehicle drove up and the suspect opened fire.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say it's not yet clear what the argument was about or whether the victim was targeted.
A description of the gunman has not yet been released.
