Browns' Gordon To Return To Practice Monday After Activation

BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has been activated from the non-football injury list and is poised to return to practice Monday.
Gordon, who suffered a quad injury while working out independently during the offseason, will return to the practice field with Cleveland for the first time since he was suspended in February 2015 for multiple violations of the NFL's drug policies.
Though he was reinstated by Commissioner Roger Goodell on July 25, Gordon is still suspended for the first four games of the regular season. He is allowed to practice with the Browns through training camp and stay with them throughout the suspension.
The 2013 Pro Bowler hasn't played in a regular-season game since December 2014, when he caught four passes for 45 yards against the Carolina Panthers.
The 25-year-old played in just five games in 2014, catching 24 passes for 303 yards.
