Caught On Camera: Robbers Hold Pair At Gunpoint On Detroit's West Side [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are hoping the public can help identify two suspects who were caught on camera robbing a man and woman at gunpoint on the city's west side.

The incident happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14 at the corner of 8 Mile Road and Rosemont Avenue, just west of the Southfield Freeway.

Police say the victims, a 24-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, were standing outside their vehicles talking when both suspects approached, produced guns and demanded their belongings.

After robbing the victims, the suspects fled on foot heading southbound on Rosemont.

Both suspects are described as black males in their early 20s. The first suspect is 5'5" tall and 170 lbs. with a light complexion,goatee and mustache. The second suspect is 6' tall and 190 lbs. with a dark brown complexion, goatee and mustache.
