Off-Duty Reserve Police Officer Stable After Shooting

DETROIT (AP) - Police say an off-duty Highland Park reserve police officer was shot while attending a block club party on Detroit's east side.

Police say the officer is in stable condition following the shooting around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. He initially was listed in critical condition after being shot in the stomach. Police say it was a drive-by shooting.

Police say they do not have a suspect in the shooting.
