Lions Awarded LB Jayson Dimanche Via Waivers, Waive LB Dominique Tovell

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they were awarded LB Jayson DiManche via waivers from Cincinnati and waived LB Dominique Tovell. Contract terms were not disclosed.

DiManche joins the Lions defense following previous stints with the Cleveland Browns (2015) and Cincinnati Bengals (2013-14). Last season for the Browns, he appeared in one game after originally signing with the team as a member of the practice squad.

An undrafted rookie free agent out of Southern Illinois with the Bengals in 2013, DiManche has played in 29 career NFL games (one start) and recorded 11 tackles (six solo) and one forced fumble.
