Tips Wanted In West Side Detroit Fatal Hit-And-Run [PHOTOS]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal hit and run on the city's west side.

Police say a 38-year-old woman was killed while walking on Fenkell Street near Wisconsin at around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene, continuing westbound on Fenkell.

Police don't have a description of the driver, but say the suspect vehicle is a dark, 2002-2009 Chevy Trailblazer SUV with grill damage. Police released some grainy images of the vehicle on Friday.
