DETROIT (WWJ) – Police in Detroit are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men pictured in surveillance images and video near the scene of a murder on the city’s west side Monday.

The 26-year-old victim is seen in the video with his back to the suspects just as Suspect #1 comes into the frame.

The victim was in front of a business in the 20000 block of W. Warren on Monday at 9:50 p.m., when the armed suspect walked up and fired one shot, killing the victim. The suspect then fled from the location, on foot towards Vaughn.

The suspect is seen in the video approaching the victim from behind. Suspect (#2) wearing the black hooded sweatshirt and a mask, is also wanted in this homicide.
