Report: Teen Stabbed During Fight Over Phone With Mom

ROMULUS (WWJ) - Police in Romulus are investigating after a teenager was reportedly stabbed during an argument with his mother.

The incident happened Monday after the the 16-year-old boy's mother took his cellphone away, according to a report by WXYZ.

The teen became enraged and allegedly attacked his mother. At some point during the confrontation, the teen was stabbed. He was taken to a local hospital; his current condition is unknown.

The mother is now being questioned by investigators.

Police are expected to release more details about the incident on Tuesday.
