Equipment Issue Leaves Thousands Without Power In Sterling Heights

STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) - More than 3,100 homes and businesses in Sterling Heights are starting off Tuesday in the dark.

DTE Energy says an equipment issue is causing a power outage in the area of M-59 and 18 Mile Road.

Utility officials are currently working on the problem and expect to have power restored shortly, although no time frame was given.
