Baker College Of Flint Design-Build Contest Uses Canned Food, Benefits Food BankTo prove that design can feed the soul and feed the hungry, a group of Baker College of Flint students is bringing the national Canstruction competition to Flint, Friday-Saturday, Oct. 25 and 26. The contest brings teams together to design and build structures using cans of food that will ultimately be donated to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
NSF Grant Boosts New Photonics, Laser Education At Baker College of FlintBaker College of Flint has received nearly $200,000 in a grant from the National Science Foundation that fast-forwards the state’s first photonics and laser technology associate degree program being launched fall quarter.
