Bright Automotive, with offices and plants in Rochester Hills and Anderson, Ind., says its trucks will cut oil imports and help American business save money
Bright Automotive Inc., the hybrid vehicle designer with operations in Indiana and Rochester Hills, Friday announced an agreement with AM General LLC to be Bright’s exclusive North American assembler for the Bright Idea vehicle platform.
Anderson, Ind.-based Bright Automotive says it is now hiring to fill 200 jobs in Southeast Michigan over the next year to bring its Idea concept vehicle to market.
General Motors Ventures LLC Tuesday announced an $5 million investment and a “strategic relationship” with Anderson, Ind.-based Bright Automotive. The investment was in the form of a promissory note that is convertible into Bright stock.
