Connect Michigan: 97% Of State Residents Have Access To Broadband

New research unveiled Tuesday by Connect Michigan shows that the broadband availability gap in Michigan is shrinking, with 97.33 percent of Michigan residents now having access to fixed broadband speeds of 3 megabits per second download and 768 kilobits per second upload.

Connect Michigan Thursday released an updated assessment of the broadband market in Michigan showing much higher broadband availability in many Michigan counties, both at higher speed tiers and by certain platforms, than the data collected in the fall of 2010.
