Rick Porcello pitched his first career complete game, Prince Fielder homered among his four hits and the Detroit Tigers snapped a three-game losing streak with a 9-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night.

Scherzer Wins 16th, Tigers Beat White Sox 3-0

Max Scherzer took a shutout into the eighth inning before being pulled, and the Detroit right-hander became baseball’s first 16-game winner when the Tigers held on for a 3-0 victory over the punchless Chicago White Sox on Saturday night.
