NASA Johnson Space Center Installs Lighting From Jackson Firm
When NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas needed an advanced lighting system to illuminate a parking lot that had no electricity, they selected the EverLast PV/Wind Hybrid Area Lighting System from Jackson-based Full Spectrum Solutions Inc. The system combines lighting with wind and solar power and battery electric storage.
Jackson Firm Sets Standard For Smart Campus Lighting
UC Davis began implementing smart lighting initiatives with the help of the California Lighting Technology Center in 2007. The university won the 2009 Best Practice Award for retrofitting 380 high-pressure sodium fixtures with EverLast 100-watt garage fixtures from Jackson-based Full Spectrum Solutions Inc. The move saves the university $78,000 a year in electricity use.
