Police say a yearlong federal and local investigation of illegal firearms sales has led to a raid on an unlicensed gun shop in Michigan and the arrest of its owner.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office says the number of weapons seizures at the Detroit-Windsor border since October has doubled compared to that same period last year.

Another effort is underway to allow concealed weapons in public schools across Michigan after similar legislation was struck down last year by Gov. Rick Snyder.
