A Michigan man accused of infecting patients in multiple states with hepatitis C through tainted syringes has pleaded guilty.
A traveling hospital technician accused of infecting dozens of patients with hepatitis C through tainted needles told investigators he was “killing a lot of people.”
State health officials say patients, between 2005 and 2007, who underwent procedures at four Michigan hospotals should probably be tested for possible exposure.
The scare comes after Easy Nails in Chatham, Ontario, an hour east of Windsor, admitted to giving body piercings with equipment that hadn’t been sterilized.
