Jabrill Peppers appears to have picked a side in the debate of whether the NCAA is taking good enough care of college athletes.
Michigan defensive back Jabrill Peppers was one of the biggest recruits in the nation before he committed to the University of Michigan.
Hoke said Peppers will not need surgery and that the defensive back will be ready in time for spring practice
After playing in three of the first four games, Peppers has missed four straight and will not dress for Saturday’s game against Indiana.
“It’s as competitive a team as I’ve been around,” Hoke said. “That is exactly what, as Michigan, the leaders and the best, we should have,”
At the time Michigan announced its class was complete, 247sports.com ranked the Wolverines’ group as 18th-best in the nation.
