Price was evidently sitting a bit farther from the court than Verlander, and he addressed the reason why in a hilarious way.
Even Verlander got a laugh from Price’s tweets.
“I know it’s a good team,” manager Brad Ausmus said.
Ausmus said Verlander will still need to complete a rehab stint before he returns to action for Detroit.
After talking at length about the decision to place Martinez on the disabled list, Ausmus provided updates on Rondon and Verlander.
