Maker Faire Detroit
With more than 400 makers, this two-day festival has a little bit of everything for the whole family to enjoy.
More than 400 makers are gathered in the parking lots of the Henry Ford Museum this weekend for the fourth annual Maker Faire Detroit, a spinout of Make Magazine that celebrates the tinkerer, the do-it-yourselfer, the science geek, and the artist.
On July 27 and 28, more than 400 tinkers, hackers and inventors will make their way to The Henry Ford for the fourth annual Maker Faire Detroit.
With events around the globe, Maker Faire encourages “makers” to create and showcase works of technology, art, science and engineering.
Attention all tinkerers, inventors, hackers and do-it-yourselfers — in short, “Makers.” The call for entries is now open for this summer’s Maker Faire Detroit 2013 at The Henry Ford in Dearborn.
EcoVElectric, the street-ready electric car produced by Grosse Pointe Woods-based Environmental Transportation Solutions LLC, will be participating in the Maker Faire Detroit event at the Henry Ford in Dearborn Saturday and Sunday.
