Stryker Profits Up On 11% Sales Jump

The Kalamazoo medical equipment maker Stryker Corp. reported net sales of $2.2 billion in the fourth quarter, up 11 percent from a year earlier. Net income was $401 million or $1.05 a share, up 36 percent from $295 million or 74 cents a share a year earlier.
