Head coach Mark Dantonio agreed with the athletic director’s sentiments regarding fans who left the Michigan State-Nebraska game early.
“Our guys need to come ready to play,” Dantonio said. “If there’s a message out of this press conference, that would be the message.”
As an opposing coach told SI, “The most important thing about Michigan State is that they really play hard. That’s good coaching.”
The coach also announced the team captains Thursday.
