Motown Winter Blast
Winter Blast returns to Detroit in 2013 for its eighth year. Head downtown for the annual celebration of all things winter and all things Detroit.
The full line up of festivities includes snow shoeing, dog sledding, marshmallow roasting, and more.
Detroit has Motown Winter Blast, and Lansing has Frost Fest. Both events feature fun, outdoor activities for the entire family. And both will feature heated tents to keep visitors warm and toasty when – and if – the need arises.
Motown Winter Blast is coming back this February 10-12, and organizers promise the eighth year will be bigger and better than ever.
With activities for every age including the snow slide, free ice skating, music performances and kids entertainment there’s something for everyone … we’re serious.
The 200-foot-tall snow slide returns this year, and visitors can also enjoy dog sledding, along with a host of family-friendly activities.
The Motown Winter Blast returns Friday and this year, visitors can take a ride down the popular 30-foot-tall snow slide for free.
