The Archdiocese of Detroit is encouraging motorists spending more time on the road because of the major I-96 construction project to use that time to pray.
A major construction project to create a roundabout at a popular intersection in Oakland County is scheduled to start this summer, and won’t be completed until 2015.
It’s the weekend again which means it’s time for construction crews to hit the roads.
Aside from the major reconstruction project on I-96, drivers won’t notice too many orange barrels on the roads this weekend.
The biggest holdup will be on I-96, which begins a seven-month shut down on Saturday.
It’s that time of year again, when orange barrels start making their way onto roads across Metro Detroit.
It’s going to be a cruel summer for drivers who rely on I-96 to get across town.
