A Detroit woman fought back against an armed suspect who was breaking into her home, receiving a gunshot in the process.
The incident follows a shooting last week that left a 19-year-old gunman dead and 11 other people wounded at a block party.
Sergeant Lewis told WWJ Newsradio 950 that four men were shot — ages 18, 19, 20 and 22 — at a block party on Stronghold Court.
The 37-year-old victim was trying to flee from another man shortly after 10 p.m. Monday, just east of downtown.
Police have found two guns but are still searching for the suspects.
