Traffic is slowing to a crawl in parts of Metro Detroit because roads are now snow-covered and slippery.
Metro Detroit roadways are snow covered and icy after snow overnight. While the snowplows are out in full force salting the roads, some area roadways are especially slick and multiple accidents have been reported.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Lenawee and Monroe counties, from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.
