DTE Energy (NYSE:DTE) Friday reported earnings for the nine months ended Sept. 30 of $537 million, or $3.07 a share, up from $529 million, or $3.08 a share, in 2012. (The earnings per share fell a penny despite higher earnings because of more shares outstanding in 2013.)

CMS Energy reported net income of $148 million, or 55 cents a share, for the third quarter of 2012, compared to reported net income of $139 million, or 53 cents a share, for the same quarter of 2011.

Detroit-based DTE Energy Thursday reported 2011 net icnome of $711 million or $4.18 a share, up from $630 million or $3.74 a share. Revenue for the year was $8.9 billion, up from $8.56 billion a year earlier.
The board of directors of CMS Energy has declared a quarterly dividend on the company’s common stock.
