Oakland County is joining the new regional authority to take over operations of Detroit’s water system.
The unit, which was disbanded a year ago due to budget cuts, was revived as a pilot program.

“We’re tying to put as many agencies together at the same place at the same time. It’s a one-stop shop.”
The latest figures: Wayne County estimates flood damage at $340 million.

Judge Gregory Bill dismissed the case because of insufficient evidence and ordered the tether to be removed as a condition of her bond.
