This is a full-service “anything you need for your bike” establishment. The Hub of Detroit can take care of whatever is wrong with your ride. Bring it in and the staff will fix the problem. In a day or two, pick it up and ride off into the sunset. The Hub of Detroit still runs as a collaborative effort with Back Alley Bikes. As an added bonus, it provides complimentary air for your tires.

Bike Tech opened in 1985. This company specializes in bicycle assembly and reassembly, but it also provides gear adjustments and detailing. The service is fast and the the staff takes pride in their work. The service technicians perform general repair such as fixing flat tires, re-installation of a tube or replacement of a tire. They are capable of working on all styles, from vintage to modern cycles. Bike Tech also restores antique bikes and has extensive historical knowledge about bikes of the past.
Corktown Cycles has a mobile repair service. Request an appointment online via the website or call and a skilled repair person will meet you at your home or an alternate address. The repair man will bring the parts and complete the repair so your bike is ready to ride in no time. Corktown Cycles works on everything from tune-ups to frame repair on a range of styles including vintage bicycles, carbon fiber road bikes and everything in between. Repairs are performed by trained professionals, using the best tools and techniques. Jack’s accepts any make or model for repair. It provides major repairs as well as minor fixes, including tune-ups.
