At its best it should be hot and juicy on the inside and crispy and spiced to perfection on the outside. Throw in some good corn bread, sides like homemade macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes and you’ve got a match made in heaven. You can’t go wrong with these fine establishments.

The setting is a little unlike a typical soul food restaurant. The owners are going for the upscale bistro feel, but that doesn’t mean the fried chicken can’t still be just like grandma’s. The B & C’s Fried Chicken is lightly seasoned, floured and southern fried.  Add two dollars for all white meat.
