Motor City Wine calls itself a “half wine bar, half wine shop, known for blending wine, music and art.” The wine store offers monthly wine tastings too. The owners, David Armin-Parcells and Mark Szymanski, buy organic or sustainably produced wines, and lean towards “small, family-owned vineyards” that offer great value for a great product. You can also drink the wine you buy in the shop for an uncorking fee of $8. Cheese plates, including meats and olives, are also available for purchase a la carte.
