She’s the granddaughter of the late August Fruehauf, founder of Fruehauf Trailer Co. and inventor of the semitrailer; and William Chapin, grandson of Hudson Motor Car Company founder and son of former CEO of AMC. Chapin is the President of the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn where the first three guests were just inducted into the 2017 Auto Hall of Fame class.
